Set resolution to lower or higher, set the game to fullscreen or windowed or borderless windowed.

Try fooling around with the resolution settings. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the game a few times (this was recommended to me by a discord user) If you are overclocking your computer, don't. If you have a dedicated graphics card, enter your graphics card settings where you can set preferences for each program separately and make sure the game uses the dedicated one. Made some research about it and it turns out this crashing after a minute issue is a thing that can happen in UE4 games Possible solutions I found are: I asked the devs about it on the official discord server but even they couldn't help. I made a post here about this a few weeks ago, I have the exact same problem on my new laptop (it crashes after exactly one minute, including the time you spend in the menu). If you're also having this problem, go over to Windows Defender Firewall, click on Advanced Settings, go to outbound rules and create new outbound rules for both THG_DEMO_3.exe and THG_DEMO_3-Win64-Shipping.exe, to disable their internet access. I'm only posting here because I heard about mega-demo today (thanks guys!) and would prefer not to have the same issue with that.Īnybody else have this problem, and how did you fix it?ĮDIT fixed. The demo, VR and pancake, ran fine on my old PC, which barely met the minimum specs. My PC is above the recommended specs, so that's not a problem.

The ship to ship option loads the inside for a few seconds, but then that crashes too. I tried the pancake version, and it does the same thing crashes before the ship is loaded. No error message, nothing, just shutdown to desktop. I load it up, press start, listen to Robin talk about his wife, and right before the ship loads in. I use the Oculus desktop app and wired link, if that helps at all. So a few weeks ago I bought a new PC, and of course felt obligated to play demo 3 in VR. I honestly can't believe how much I got into these old time ships from their channel alone - I love the history and just the sheer size of the ships - they were so far ahead of their time.Hey guys. Seriously check out the "Titanic honor and Glory" you tube channel - it's fascinating and they cover all of Harland and Wolf/white star lines tragedy's (most people only think the Titanic sunk) not just Titanic. They are being very careful with the game as they want to do it justice. I highly recommend watching their videos on your TV. They have a simulated real time sinking of the Titanic (the full 2 hours plus) - sounds boring until you watch it, no talking, starts from just before the ship hits the iceberg to the final plunge - I recommend watching the entire thing - all key events pop up at their designated times. I follow their you tube channel closely - these young dudes are very committed to their work and even a lot of Titanic historians refer to them.
